Brock Oliver Able

Crib Note
A darling baby boy named Brock Oliver Able was born on February 17th to Kelsey and Christopher Able of Prairie Village. Brock has brown hair and blue eyes and weighed seven pounds, two ounces. His proud grandparents are Nancy and Matt Buchmann of Leawood and Barb and Matt Able of Leawood. Brock’s adorable nursery is decorated in red, white and blue with Captain America accents.

Helping Hands

These four enterprising, adorable girls volunteered during spring break at Harvesters to help pack more than 550 boxes of food to be delivered to low-income seniors. A job well done by these terrific young ladies!

Mary Grace Martin

Crib Note
Rebecca and Scott Martin of Prairie Village welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Mary Grace Martin, on February 27th. She has blue eyes and light brown hair. Mary Grace weighed six pounds, 13 ounces and was 18 and one half inches long. The proud grandparents are Mary and John Harrison of Leawood and Dorian Busby of Naples, Florida, and Alson Martin of Lenexa. Mary Grace joins brothers Harry, who is four and a half, and Tommy, who is three.

Ozanam’s Golf Classic

On The Greens
Ozanam’s Golf Classic, “Putting Kids on the Right Course,” will be held on May 11th at Ironhorse Golf Club. Brady Wombolt is serving as the chairman of the event that features a putting contest, silent auction, raffle, lunch, a four-person scramble tournament, and an awards ceremony. Proceeds support the children’s programs and services at Ozanam.

Brews & BBQ

The Children’s Place
The Young Advisory Board of The Children’s Place’s Brews & BBQ  was held on March 19th at Boulevard Brewery.  The third annual event featured Boulevard  beers and delicious Jack Stack Barbecue. Proceeds support The Children’s Place and its efforts to heal the youngest survivors of abuse, neglect and trauma.
