Patti Phillips, NACWAA; was inducted into The Missouri Sports Hall of Fame at the second annual Women in Sports Luncheon on March 23rd at the Ramada Oasis Convention Center in Springfield, Missouri. Congratulations, Patti!

50th Anniversary Patron Dinner

Kansas City Repertory Theatre
March 9th was the date for Kansas City Repertory Theatre Artistic Director Eric Rosen and Executive Director Angela Lee Gieras’ private 50th Anniversary Patron Dinner on March 9th at Pennway Place. The event featured six actors from the cast of KC Rep’s production of HAIR: Retrospection, actors who have the distinction of being veterans of the Broadway show HAIR, either the original 1968 production or the 1977 revival.

Amy Young

Amy Young was born and raised in Our Town. She is a member of Centurions, Class of 2015, and is co-chairman of the November Task Force on Kansas City Traditions and Hidden Gems. She also serves on the projects committee. Amy is creative director at Barkley and is married to Mike Adams. They have two children, Cambridge and Fritz.

Gala Auction

Notre Dame de Sion School
March 7th was the date for Notre Dame de Sion School’s Gala Auction. More than 460 guests enjoyed the “Sion Around the World” themed-event that was held at the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza. Ellen and Chris Pantaenius, Kelly Clarkson Qamar and Kenon Qamar were the co-chairmen. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, silent and live auctions, a car raffle, and dancing. Megan Dillard served as the emcee.

Deborah Smith and Dr. Mark Myron of Our Town are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Elizabeth Myron, to Daniel Marx McCarthy, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George McCarthy of Highland Park, New Jersey. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Edward Smith of Kansas City and the late Mr. Smith and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Myron. Laura is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School.
