Caroline VanDeusen is from Lincoln, Nebraska. She is a member of Centurions, Class of 2016 and serves on the Wild Card Task Force and the communications committee. Caroline works in business development for NIC Services. She and her husband, Geoff, have three children, Geoffrey, Anna and Adeline.

Britton and Clinton Robinson were the honorary chairmen, and Judy DeJesus served as chairmen of SAFEHOME’s Saturday Night. The June 13th was held at the Overland Park Sheraton. Guests enjoyed live and silent auctions, dinner and entertainment. Abby Eden served as the emcee.

The Family Conservancy’s Blue Carpet Event will be held on September 18th at Pennway Place. The Family Conservancy will present an individual or organization committed to bettering the lives of children and families in Kansas City with the Betsy Vander Velde Award. The award was established to honor The Family Conservancy’s President and CEO Emeritus, Betsy Vander Velde, in recognition of her service and commitment to the vulnerable members of our community.

May 27th was the date for Assurant Employee Benefits’ Perseverance Hall of Fame at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. J.R. Martinez was the special guest, and Charity Tillemann-Dick and Deliece Hofen were inducted into the Perseverance Hall of Fame.
