Michael Judy was born and raised in Our Town. He is a graduate of Rockhurst High School. Michael is a member of Centurions, Class of 2015 and serves as the co-chairman of the recruiting committee and chairman of the retreat committee. He is a partner with Dysart Taylor law firm. Michael and his wife, Mary Jane, have three sons, Hank, Charlie and Russ.

Under The Stars And Inside The Oval
The 14th annual Treads & Threads will be held on September 11th at Kansas Speedway. Michelle and Peter deSilva are the chairmen of the event that will feature gourmet restaurant fare, specialty beverages, a special performance by a leading musical entertainer, and dancing to the Emerald City Band. Candice and Mark A. Uhlig are the honorary chairmen, and John Holt will serve as the emcee.

Digging In The Garden
Bristol Seafood Grill presented an Earth Month gift to Broadmoor Technical Center on April 16th. Broadmoor is a nationally-recognized culinary arts education program managed by the Shawnee Mission School District. The funds will be used to prepare the Center’s urban farm for the spring planting season and aid in the maintenance of the land.

George August Lane

Crib NoteĀ 
A bouncing baby boy named George August Lane was born on September 8th to Lisa and Michael Lane of Rocky River, Ohio. The darling boy has blue eyes and light brown hair and weighed eight pounds, 14 ounces. He joins his older brothers, William, age five, and T.J., age three. George’s grandparents are Ann and Jim Cooling of Our Town and Cathy and Ray Lane of Dayton, Ohio. Proud great-grandparents are Marjorie and Bill Dietrich of Our Town and Joanne Lane of Oradell, New Jersey.

November 13th is the date for The March of Dimes’ Nurse of the Year Awards at the Overland Park Convention Center. Tammy Peterman, The University of Kansas Hospital; is serving as the chairman of the event that honors the best and the brightest nurses from across Kansas and the Greater Kansas City area.
