Fabulous Film
The National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial was the site for a reception and special screening of Unbroken on December 16th. Guests enjoyed a preview screening of the film, auction items including a copy of the Unbroken book that was signed by Louie Zamperini and a reception and tour of the Museum with former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Richard Myers.

Mr. and Mrs. Russell W. Baker, Jr. of Our Town are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Baker, to Daniel Nelson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Morton Nelson of St. Joseph, Missouri. Kate is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy and social political ethics from Villanova University and a juris doctorate from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law.

Kathleen Mary Herman of Naples, Florida, and Mr. John Andrew Herman of Cuba, Missouri, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lucy Ann Herman, to Andrew Hogan Rieger, the son of Nancy Hogan Koons of Mission, Kansas, and the late Mr. Thomas Andrew Rieger. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. James Mullally of Naples, Florida, and the late Mr. Mullally and Mrs. Harry Herman of Lexington, Kentucky, and the late Mr. Herman.

Amelia Rose

Happy First Birthday!
Amelia Rose Krigel turned one on October 10th. Her parents are Stephanie and Jeff Krigel of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and she is the granddaughter of Gayle and Bruce Krigel of Our Town and Norma Duran of Jerome, Idaho. Amelia’s favorite foods are bananas, watermelon and ice cream. She loves her dog, Dusty, a 70 pound, 10-year-old Terrier Labrador Retriever straight out of Little Orphan Annie.
