57th Season Launch Party

Kansas City Ballet
The Kansas City Ballet held its annual Season Launch Party on October 10th. Artistic Director Devon Carney and Executive Director Jeffrey J. Bentley welcomed guests to the fabulous 57th season. Members of the Ballet’s Patrons Society enjoyed a quirky but elegant event reflective of the artistic themes of the season. Following the fete, patrons enjoyed the opening night of Alice (in wonderland) at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Daniel!

Bride’s Book 
Hillary Elaine Mullin and William Chase Daniel were married on July 5th at Jacob’s Well Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Lenuel “Lenny” Mullin II of Lenexa. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Herschel Lavoy Manuel of Lenexa and the late Mr. Manuel and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Ross Mullin of Lenexa. Her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wayne Daniel of Southlake, Texas. Chase is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cue Elick Green, Jr.

Saint Luke’s East Hospital

Boo Ball
Saint Luke’s East Hospital’s Boo Ball was a hip party with a cause. The fifth annual event was held at The Pavilion at John Knox Village. Guests enjoyed a fabulous 1960s-themed party and grooved to the tunes of Liverpool – A Beatles Tribute Band. Proceeds from the event support cardiovascular services at Saint Luke’s East Hospital.

Spooktacular Halloween Party

Hope House
October 26th was the date for a Spooktacular Halloween Party at the beautiful home of Brenda and Bob Aylward. Friends and family arrived in costume and enjoyed 12 stunning Halloween tablescapes that were created by Brenda. The festive gathering supports Hope House and its mission to help those affected by domestic violence.
