Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Donais, Jr.!

Dr. Kathleen Smith and Ronald Donais, Jr. were married on June 28th in a vineyard wedding at Monte De Oro Winery in Temecula, California. The bride is the daughter of Kathy Smith of Leawood and the late Mr. Mike Smith. Her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lenny Madalinski of Elgin, Illinois, and Mr. Ronald Donais, Sr. of Arcadia, Wisconsin. The evening prior, the bride and groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at an estate in Temecula.

April 25th is the date for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s 26th annual Savor The Moment…A Taste of New Beginnings. Kathy and Jim Polsinelli are the chairmen of the event to be held at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown.

Ford Lawson Satterwhite

Crib Note 
A handsome baby boy named Ford Lawson Satterwhite arrived on August 11th. He weighed seven pounds, two ounces and was 19 inches long. Ford has blue eyes and brown hair. His proud parents are Hilary Allen and Steven Satterwhite of Overland Park. His thrilled grandparents are Helen Thompson and Hiram Blomquist of Leawood, Wanda and Robert Allen, Jr. of Prairie Village, Sandy and Max Satterwhite of Lenexa, and great-grandmother Jean Allen of Our Town.

2015 Community Luncheon

April 30th is the date for MOCSA’s 2015 Community Luncheon to be held at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. Michelle and Peter deSilva and Jordan and Marcelo Claure are serving as the honorary co-chairmen of the event that will celebrate MOCSA’s 40th year of service in Our Town. Lara Logan is the keynote speaker.

Kersten Hotzhueter

Kersten Hotzhueter is an associate in the litigation and dispute resolutions practice group at Spencer Fane Britt and Browne. She is married to Dan Kilcoyne. Kersten is a member of the Centurions Class of 2015, is chairman of the Law and Order Task Force and a member of the recruiting committee. She especially enjoyed volunteering at Project Uplift, delivering food and other essential items to homeless individuals.
