Emilie Marie Sutherland and Charles Turner Spalding were married on August 1st at the Alila Villas Uluwatu in Bali, Indonesia. The bride is the daughter of Martha Sidney Sutherland of Accomac, Virginia, and Mr. Mark Dwight Cheng of Bethesda, Maryland. Emilie is the step-daughter of Mr. Barnaby Conrad III and Mary Jane Skapek Cheng. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dwight D. Sutherland, Sr., of Fairway and the late Mr. Sutherland and Dr. and Mrs. T. O. Cheng of Bethesda.

Emily Ayliffe White and Edward Benton Keatley were married on May 31st at The Pavilion of the Two Sisters at City Park in New Orleans, Louisiana. The bride is the daughter of Edna Ayliffe Latchem of St. Gabriel, Louisiana, and Mr. William Clinton White II of Artesia, New Mexico. Emily is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward Latchem and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Clinton White. Her groom is the son of Mrs. Robert Arthur Keatley of Our Town and the late Mr. Keatley.

Product Line Launch Party
Laura and Lantz Welch’s beautiful estate on Weatherby Lake will be the setting for The Lions in Four Product Line Launch Party, to be held on September 28th. The fun event will feature a performance by Georgia Middleman, who is a member of the Blue Sky Riders band. Lions in Four was created by Julie Martin, and is a globally-minded, socially conscious affordable luxury brand.

Hope & All That Jazz

Hope House
Geri and Dave Frantze served as the chairmen of Hope & All That Jazz on August 16th at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. Proceeds from the 25th anniversary event support Hope House’s mission to provide shelter and comprehensive services to survivors of domestic violence in Our Town.
