Chiefs Fantasy Camp

Chiefs Kingdom
Trent Green and David Gentile served as the co-chairmen of The University of Kansas Hospital and the Hunt Family Foundation’s Chiefs Fantasy Camp on May 15th and 16th at Arrowhead Stadium. The inaugural event featured appearances from Shawn Barber, Anthony Davis, Dante Hall, Priest Holmes, Eddie Kennison, Christian Okoye, Jan Stenerud, and Will Shields. Proceeds support the Center for Concussion Management at The University of Kansas Hospital.

Go Red for Women Half Day for Your Heart

American Heart Association
April 25th was the date for Kansas City’s Go Red for Women Half Day for Your Heart at the Overland Park Convention Center. Dana Abraham and Trish Walker were the co-chairmen. More than 1,100 guests raised funds to support the American Heart Association’s life-saving mission.

KidsTLC
KidsTLC’s Pour For More was held on May 9th at The Guild. Kristin and Matt Holton served as chairmen of the event that featured cocktails, delicious fare, silent and live auctions, entertainment by The Dueling Piano Guys, and music by The Old No. 5s.

Art Bra KC

Artful Importance
Art Bra KC was held on May 2nd at Signature Hangar. More than 1,100 guests enjoyed a special fashion show featuring 70 work-of-art bras that were part of the auction. Sharon Snowden-Hake and Adrienne Helvey served as the co-chairmen.

Project 39

The Mother of All Happy Hours
May 8th was the date for Project 39’s The Mother of All Happy Hours. The hosts of the more than 60 events asked friends and family to come for a happy hour celebration and bring baby items. The Family Conservancy partnered with Project 39 to receive the donated baby items that will be stored at a new Mother’s Market. 
Also featured in the June 14th issue of The Independent 

 A special container was needed to hold all of the donated baby items.
