Congratulations, Catherine and Andrew!

Mr. and Mrs. Allen W. Blair of Our Town are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Conness Blair, to Andrew Martin Rapp, the son of Linda Martin Rapp of St. Charles, Missouri, and Mr. Vincent Rapp of St. Charles, Missouri. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Palmer of Jefferson City, Missouri, the late Mr. Robert E. Dallmeyer, Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles David Blair. Catherine is a graduate of North Kansas City High School.

Hannah Leigh Harris

One is Fun!
Hannah Leigh Harris, born May 8, 2013, celebrated her first birthday on Mother’s Day. Proud parents Denise and Welsh Harris hosted a festive brunch at Kirkwood Circle. Hannah’s family, including grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Bollier, Mrs. Phillip Stephen Harris and great-grandmother, Mrs. André Bollier, enjoyed quiche, chicken salad, cheese, fruit, and Andre’s delicious vanilla cake. The birthday girl loves music and dances with a wild wiggle.

It was a fabulous 50th birthday celebration for Louise Meyers on May 16th at her store, Pryde’s. Family and friends enjoyed a delicious breakfast, shared special memories and took lots of pictures. Happy Birthday, Louise!

Sean Manners joined American Century Investments in 2010. He is an institutional strategies analyst and is responsible for identifying current market trends and establishing a positioning strategy to aide in business development within the institutional investment management industry. Sean is a member of the Centurions Class of 2014. He serves as the co-chairman of the Projects Committee and manages the community service commitments to the wide variety of organizations in Our Town.

Step Back in Time
Mission Hills Country Club’s Step Back in Time was part of its Centennial Celebration. The April 26th event featured a “Great Gatsby” theme. Partygoers enjoyed delicious fare and The Karen Davis Project who performed on the patio under the stars.
