Congratulations, Lora & John!

Engagement 
Dr. and Mrs. Rex Marion Joyce of Leawood are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lora Kathleen Joyce, to John Clayton Mosbarger, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Lee Mosbarger of Goodland, Kansas. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. Lora earned a bachelor of arts degree in biochemistry from Kansas State University and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from The University of Kansas.

Caroline Elizabeth Grey

Crib Note
Glad tidings from Annapolis, Maryland: Caroline Elizabeth Grey was born on January 24th to proud parents Katie Ligibel Grey and Eric Grey. The darling baby girl has blue eyes and brown hair. She weighed eight pounds, 13 ounces. Caroline joins her big sister Emmy, who is two and one half years old. Caroline’s thrilled grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. T. Craig Ligibel of Annapolis, Maryland, and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Grey of Baldwin, Maryland. She is the great-granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Dream Camp

Trent Green and David Gentile are the co-chairmen of the inaugural Chiefs Fantasy Camp, presented by The University of Kansas Hospital and the Hunt Family Foundation. The event will benefit The Center for Concussion Management at The University of Kansas Hospital. Limited to the first 100 participants, the Camp will feature several Chiefs greats serving as captains. Activities will kick off with a cocktail reception on May 15th.

Betty Boyd

Powell Gardens is grateful to have Betty Boyd as such a dedicated and caring volunteer. Within the last year, she has contributed almost 500 hours of service at fundraisers, special events, selling memberships, and working in the Gardens a few days each week. Betty loves the caring dedication of the staff and volunteers. She appreciates nature’s beauty and tranquility while working in the Gardens.
