Mr. and Mrs. Edward Joseph Reardon of Leawood are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristyn Leigh Reardon, to John David Kimminau, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Paul Kimminau of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Joseph Sullivan of Our Town and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Joseph Reardon. Kristyn is a graduate of Notre Dame de Sion High School.

Kathryn Maxine Quimby and Daniel Vincent Reinhardt were married on November 30th at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. The bride is the daughter of Sharon Fate and Dr. Henry Bishop of Fairway and Mr. and Mrs. Henry R. Quimby, Jr., of Loch Lloyd, Missouri. Her groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. J. Robert Reinhardt of Holt, Missouri. The evening prior, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Plaza III.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Becky and Brett Gordon are serving as chairmen of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 26th Annual Ball,¬†A Night At The Races. The April 26th event, to be held at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown, will have a “Kentucky Derby” theme. Guests will enjoy signature cocktails, a five-course meal, silent and live auctions, and entertainment.

Annual Membership Tea
The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary celebrated the holiday season with its Annual Membership Tea on December 11th at the lovely home of Jackie Cunningham. Great fellowship, hors d’oeuvres and dessert were enjoyed by the auxiliary members and their guests. Major Sharon Smith greeted members and presented an update on this year’s Kettle Campaign.
