Girls’ Night In

Happy Hearts
Dr. Marina Hannen, Dr. Rita Hyde, Dr. Rhea Pimentel, and Dr. Ashley Simmons were the honorary co-chairmen of the ninth annual Girls’ Night In on February 26th at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. The event supported the Adelaide C. Ward Women’s Heart Health Center at The University of Kansas Hospital and Turning Point: The Center for Hope and Healing, and featured heartfelt stories from Leslie Bayer, Lina Dickinson, Charles Ferruzza, Sherry Kuehl, and Carolyn Long.

Back to the Future

Brian Hayhow

Brian Hayhow can always be counted on to lend a helping hand at Children’s Mercy Hospitals & Clinics. Brian volunteers with patients on a weekly basis and is a former Volunteer of the Month award recipient. He is a founding member and chairman of the new Mercy Ambassadors Auxiliary.

Raise Your Glass

May 9th is the date for the second annual Pour for More cocktail fundraiser, a benefit for KidsTLC. Kristin and Matt Holton are the chairmen of the event to be held on May 9th at The Guild. Guests will enjoy delectable fare, a silent auction and entertainment by The Dueling Piano Guys.

Benedictine College

Raven Spirit
Lené Westerman and Joan Koechner Charbonneau and Stephen Charbonneau served as the co-chairmen of the Benedictine College Scholarship Ball. The February 22nd event was held at the Overland Park Convention Center. Patricia Kearney Elder and the founding members of the Benedictine Raven Soccer Boosters were honored with the Cross of the Order of St. Benedict.
