Hattie Lally
Rescued by Dr. Wayne Hunthausen, Hattie Lally is the studio dog on the Anything Goes Show with Charles Ferruzza. The six year old West Highland White Terrier makes her home with Martha Lally, KKFI producer. Catch Hattie on the KKFI website as part of the show team.

Congratulations Dorothy and Louis!

Engagement
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fred Owen of Our Town are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Dorothy Caroline Owen, to Louis Joseph Weber IV, the son of Susan England Coke of Dallas, Texas, and Mr. Louis Joseph Weber III of Dallas, Texas. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Francis McCord and Mrs. Edward Fred Owen of Omaha, Nebraska, and the late Mr. Owen. Caroline is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School.

The Women’s Foundation of Greater Kansas City

A Celebration of Women, The Women’s Foundation of Greater Kansas City’s commemorative journal, will be unveiled on May 12th at a Publication Reception. The event will be hosted by Cathy Dean at Polsinelli. The annual publication recognizes and celebrates Our Town’s women and girls. Michelle Suter and Peggy Donica are the co-chairmen.

Wayside Waifs

Night of Sisterhood
Members of Wayside Waif’s Purr Gamma Bark sorority gathered on February 12th at the beautiful home of Susan Sight. Guests enjoyed shopping for sorority spirit wear, singing the official sorority song and planning fun fall events. Each of the sisters donated dog and cat toys for the Waifs.

Aaron Link

A native of Our Town, Aaron Link is a graduate of Rockhurst High School. He is a project manager for Perceptive Software’s public sector clients. Aaron serves on the Centurion Task Force where he has worked with KinderKC and Operation Breakthrough. The Centurions program has taught Aaron about the many facets of Our Town and how various elements intertwine to create the fabric of our community.
