Lights, Camera, Auction! 
Notre Dame de Sion School’s Gala Auction was held on March 1st at Starlight Theatre. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal from Chef Ted Habiger, Room 39; and an exciting live auction. Dawn Diamond, 1986 alumna; won the raffle and Angus Dwyer was the happy winner of a Toyota RAV4.

Stella Olivia Dreyer

Crib Note
A beautiful baby girl named Stella Olivia Dreyer arrived on November 12th to proud parents Amy and Tom Dreyer of Our Town. Stella joins her big sisters Annie and Carly and big brother Tommy. She weighed eight pounds, two ounces and was 20 and one half inches long. Stella has blue eyes and brown hair. Her delighted grandparents are Thelma and Gene Dreyer of Prairie Village and Debi Appleton of Our Town and the late Gerald Appleton.

Wake Up and Smell the Coffee

Passover Blend
The Roasterie and Jewish Family Services have teamed up to create a special Passover blend of coffee. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the community food pantry that JFS operates. The new blend, which has been certified kosher for Passover, is a combination of beans from Brazil, Columbia and Costa Rica and is French roasted. Laney Nicholson

Laney, a Lab/Pointer mix, was an impulse rescue in July of 2005. Owner Amanda Nicholson explains that Laney loves to sunbathe, chew on sticks, fetch tennis balls, and go for car rides.
