Children’s Mercy – Red Hot Night Gala

Cathy and Rick Baier and Becky and Brett Gordon were the honorary co-chairmen, and Stacie Prosser and John Brandmeyer were the co-chairmen of Red Hot Night Gala, a benefit for Children’s Mercy. More than 1,600 guests enjoyed the 13th annual event on February 11th in the Grand Ballroom of the Kansas City Convention Center. The starry night featured cocktails, a gourmet dinner by PB&J, live music, auctions, and dancing.

Congratulations, Anna & Charles!

Mary Brown Leek of Prairie Village is proud to announce the engagement of her daughter, Anna Sauder Leek, to Charles Robert Ludington, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Edward Ludington of Prairie Village. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Louis James Leek of Overland Park and the late Mr. Leek and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Edward Brown. Anna is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in education from The University of Kansas.

Crib Note – Audrey Mae Golden

Glad tidings from Katy, Texas: Audrey Mae Golden was born on January 7th. Audrey’s proud parents are Lauren and Justin Golden. She joins her big sister Daphne, age four; and big brother Henry, age two. The blue-eyed, blonde beauty weighed eight pounds and was 20 inches long. Delighted grandparents are Pam and John Gyllenborg of Leawood, Sherry Golden of Norman, Oklahoma, and Janet and James Golden of Houston, Texas. Daphne and Henry love their baby sister and take turns holding her.

Crib Note – Christopher James Cusser

A blue bundle of joy named Christopher James Cusser was born on January 23rd. The handsome baby boy is the son of Anne and Andrew Cusser of Leawood. Topher joins his big sister Clara, age three. He weighed seven pounds, eight ounces and was 20 and one half inches long. Topher has blue eyes and brown hair. His proud grandparents are M.J. and Larry Walden of Leawood and Diana and Jim Cusser of Mission Hills.
