Larry F. Levenson

Photographer Larry F. Levenson advises gentlemen to button their suit jackets when being photographed. It will create a more complimentary geometry at the chest and abdomen and will be more flattering to the eye. Larry also recommends that gentlemen resist the urge to put their arms around the people next to them in a photo. Clothing has to stretch and pull to accommodate the action and rarely photographs well.

The Kansas City Zoo

Jazzoo

The Kansas City Zoo’s most adventuresome event, Jazzoo, will be held on June 6th. Sandy Johnson is serving as the chairman of the event which will celebrate its 25th anniversary. Guests will enjoy cocktails, delicious bites from some of Our Town’s best restaurants and fabulous entertainment.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Joseph Reardon of Leawood are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristyn Leigh Reardon, to John David Kimminau, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Paul Kimminau of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Joseph Sullivan of Our Town and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Joseph Reardon. Kristyn is a graduate of Notre Dame de Sion High School.

Kathryn Maxine Quimby and Daniel Vincent Reinhardt were married on November 30th at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. The bride is the daughter of Sharon Fate and Dr. Henry Bishop of Fairway and Mr. and Mrs. Henry R. Quimby, Jr., of Loch Lloyd, Missouri. Her groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. J. Robert Reinhardt of Holt, Missouri. The evening prior, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Plaza III.
