The NAIA Foundation Luncheon
On November 6th, The NAIA Champions of Character Foundation Luncheon will celebrate the values of those who make a difference in sports at the Kansas City Convention Center Grand Ballroom. The keynote speaker will be the University of Nebraska Coach Tom Osborne.

Artful Adventure
The ninth annual Young at Art Cocktail Party and Auction, a benefit for MOCSA’s art and play therapy programs, was held at the Uptown Theater. Lisa and Mike Hagedorn were the honorary chairmen, and Ali Mahaffy and Melanie Fenske served as the co-chairmen.

Spotlight on Centurions

Jeremy Hegle 

Jeremy Hegle joined KCSourceLink as one of its first three employees in 2003 and currently serves as senior project director. Jeremy oversees day-to-day operations, product management and software development for the company which provides support for established businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. As part of the Centurions Program, Jeremy serves as steering committee chairman and was voted Most Involved Centurion in 2013.

Magic of the Season
December 7th is the date for the 19th Annual Sugar Plum Fairy Children’s Ball to be held in the Grand Ballroom at Bartle Hall. Guests young and old will enjoy holiday music, an elegant three-course lunch, shopping for holiday gifts at the Nutcracker Marketplace, and posing for photos with the Sugar Plum Fairy. Following the Luncheon, there will be a performance of the Kansas City Ballet’s The Nutcracker at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

Congratulations, Allison & Jake!

Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Clifford Pruett of Leawood are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Elizabeth Pruett, to Jake Wesley Droge, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edger Dunne of Houston, Texas, and Dr. and Mrs. Duane Allen Droge of Eureka, Kansas. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Beutler of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Pruett. Allison is a graduate of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School.
