Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Mueller!

Laura Ann Donnelly and Jonathan David Mueller were married on April 9th at St. Ann Catholic Church in Prairie Village. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Patrick Donnelly of Leawood. Her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Mueller of Manchester, Missouri.
The evening prior, a rehearsal dinner was held at Jack Stack Barbecue – Freight House. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a beautiful reception at Indian Hills Country Club.

Mr. and Mrs. Russell Scarritt Jones, Jr. of Prairie Village are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Katherine Jones, to Daniel Scott Jacobs, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Walter Jacobs of Cincinnati, Ohio. Lindsey is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Scarritt Jones of Overland Park and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herold Walter Hunter. She is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School.

Johnson County Library Foundation – Library Lets Loose

On October 15th, the Johnson County Library Foundation’s first annual Library Lets Loose event took place at the library, celebrating the Foundation’s 20th anniversary. The sold-out crowd enjoyed works by artists, musicians, libations, and a delicious repast. Proceeds support library programs and collections.

Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas – Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest, a benefit for Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas and its 43rd annual Snow Ball, was held on October 22nd at the Lake Quivira Sailing Dock. Franny and Lane Boland, Amy and Kevin Kentfield, Christy and Joe Heller, Mel and Pat McAnany, and Lisa and Tray Vedock were the hosts.

KCU – Cliffhanger Run and Centennial Birthday Party

The Cliffhanger Run and Centennial Birthday Party were held on October 8th for Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. More than 1,000 runners participated in the run on Cliff Drive, followed by a birthday party featuring food, lawn games, entertainment, and more.

Face painters, balloon artists and Pop-Up Charlie entertained kids in the Artists’ Tent.

Participants enjoyed the special event that featured wonderful games to play.
