The Most Wanted Auction, a benefit for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City, was held on December 3rd at The Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland. More than 1,000 guests enjoyed bidding on once-in-a-lifetime auction packages designed by the 37 honorees.

JCRB|AJC – Human Relations Dinner

November 20th was the date for Jewish Community Relations Bureau|American Jewish Committee’s Human Relations Dinner at The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center. Julia Irene Kauffman was honored with the Henry W. Bloch Human Relations Award. Janice and Tom Kreamer, Annabel and James B. Nutter, Sr., Sharon and Louis Smith, and Anne and Robert St. Peter were the co-chairmen, and Jane Chu, National Endowment for the Arts; was the keynote speaker.

Village Shalom – Ages of Excellence Celebration

Alana Muller and Bruce Kershenbaum were the co-chairmen of Village Shalom’s Ages of Excellence Celebration at the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza. The November 16th event featured a presentation by three-time Pulitzer Prize winner and international bestselling author, Thomas Friedman.

Synergy Services – Stand Up for Synergy

Stand Up for Synergy was held on November 5th at Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa. Guests enjoyed cocktails, lounge singer Rudy Amato, artist Nick Clark, a delicious dinner, and a live auction, featuring the Nigro Brothers. Comedian Paul Reiser brought the house down with his wonderful performance. Michelle and Ryan Brown served as the chairmen.
