Happy Birthday, Emmett!

This beautiful angel-in-training named Emmett Langdon turned one on March 19th and is the daughter of Laura and Jesse Langdon. Since Emmett loves strawberries and was a strawberry for Halloween, she had a strawberry-themed birthday party, replete with a strawberry chocolate swirl cake for family and friends in attendance.

Sara Fischer of Los Angeles, California, is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Emily Fischer Bylsma, to James William Joseph Cooling, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Cooling of Our Town. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fischer. Emily is a graduate of the Brentwood School in Los Angeles, California. She received a bachelor of arts degree in English from Washington University in St. Louis. Emily careers with WME | IMG in San Francisco, California.

Cheers to Volunteers!

Since, 2009 Eddie Meyer has volunteered at Heart to Heart International. Volunteering at least 20 hours per week, she handles the front reception desk, trains new volunteers and organizes volunteer trips to Haiti, where HHI operates 16 health clinics. Spotlight On Centurions – Tanesha Ford

Tanesha Ford received her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University of Central Missouri. She is the program director for the Kauffman Scholars. Tanesha and her husband, David, are expecting their first child in June. She is a member of Centurions, class of 2016. Tanesha serves on the Education Task Force and is co-chairman of the recruiting committee.
