Cheers to Volunteers!

Since, 2009 Eddie Meyer has volunteered at Heart to Heart International. Volunteering at least 20 hours per week, she handles the front reception desk, trains new volunteers and organizes volunteer trips to Haiti, where HHI operates 16 health clinics. Thank you, Eddie, for sharing your time and talents with HHI.

Spotlight On Centurions – Tanesha Ford

Tanesha Ford received her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University of Central Missouri. She is the program director for the Kauffman Scholars. Tanesha and her husband, David, are expecting their first child in June. She is a member of Centurions, class of 2016. Tanesha serves on the Education Task Force and is co-chairman of the recruiting committee.

Jackson County CASA – Night of Hope

Friends and supporters of Jackson County CASA recently gathered at the offices of the Robertson Law Group for Night of Hope. Guests enjoyed cocktails, appetizers and dessert while learning more about Jackson County CASA’s new program for older foster youth. Gina and Board Member Zach Bickel were the hosts.

Bra Couture KC

April 1st was the date for Bra Couture KC, formerly known as Art Bra KC, at Signature Flight Support. Breast cancer survivors walked the runway in beautiful art bras. Proceeds support uninsured/underinsured cancer patients in Our Town.

 Sydney Scott walked the runway in honor of 2016 model, Angie Wieskamp, who recently lost her life to breast cancer.

Laura Saavedra Kobak enjoyed a special round of applause on the runway.
