Benedictine College – Scholarship Ball

More than 800 alumni, friends and students attended Benedictine College’s annual Scholarship Ball. The February 25th event was held at the Overland Park Convention Center. Lené Westerman and Kate and Patrick Carr were the co-chairmen, and John Holt served as the emcee. The evening featured a 50th anniversary celebration of the college’s 1967 NAIA national basketball championship, with all 10 players from the storied team in attendance. Shirley and Bob Chenoweth and Julie and Sean Doherty were honored with the Cross of the Order of St. Benedict. Proceeds support student scholarships.
