Page Branton Reed (Mrs. Bruce Alan Reed) will serve as the chairman of the 2016 Jewel Ball, to be held on June 18th at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Page is the daughter of Mrs. William Coleman Branton and the late Mr. Branton. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Leon Shaw and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Coleman Branton. She was a Jewel Ball debutante in 1974.
Joan and Alan Marsh will be serving as the honorary co-chairmen of The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art’s gala, Create the Night…Masterpiece!, which will take place on February 20th at the Museum. The Karbank Family also will be the honorary co-chairmen. This black-tie affair will highlight the opening of the Museum’s exhibit, Reflecting Class in the Age of Rembrandt and Vermeer.
On February 9th, The University of Kansas Hospital’s Girls’ Night In will take place at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. The event will feature Gretchen Rubin, who wrote Better Than Before, The Happiness Project and Happier at Home. Sara Colt and Susan Morris are serving as honorary co-chairmen.
April 8th is the date for the Angels of The Children’s Place Gala at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. Wendy and Grant Burcham will serve as the honorary chairmen.
April 9th is the date for Truman Medical Center Charitable Foundation’s White Coat Gala at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. Neil T. Douthat is the honorary chairman, and Rachael Weber Sabates and Dr. Nelson Sabates are serving as chairmen.
