Holiday Mart
Plans are already underway for the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri’s Holiday Mart 2015, and Katie Minnis and Shayla Hammeke will be serving as the co-chairmen. This year’s Holiday Mart will be held at Bartle Hall from October 16th through the 19th.

20th Anniversary Gala

Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art
Karen and Jack Holland are the honorary chairmen, and Mary Kemper Wolf, Scott Heidmann and Christy Gautreaux are serving as the co-chairmen of the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art’s 20th Anniversary Gala on October 11th at the Museum. “ROAR” is the theme of the Roaring Twenties event, where burlesque girls, bootleggers and gangsters will feel right at home in a special speakeasy.

Nutcracker Ball

The Kansas City Ballet Guild
The Nutcracker Ball will be held on December 5th at Union Station Kansas City. Guests will enjoy a ballet presentation, cocktails, dinner by Lon Lane’s Inspired Occasions, and dancing to The Michael Beers Band. James Jordan is serving as the honorary chairman, and Anna Allen is the chairman.

Holiday Mart, a four day shopping extravaganza benefiting the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri, will be held from October 16th through the 19th at Bartle Hall. Erin Lambert and Kristen Brought are serving as co-chairmen of the event that has raised nearly nine million dollars for community projects since its inception in 1988.

9th Annual Carnival for CASA

That’s Entertainment
On September 13th, the 9th Annual Carnival for CASA will be held at Paradise Park. An array of activities for the entire family will include lunch, a rock wall, hair designers, a hamster ball from Yes! Kids Fitness, bounce houses, and the Kansas City Zoo’s Zoomobile. Proceeds will help Jackson County CASA serve more than 1,000 abused and neglected children who are under court protection.
