Julie Randolph is honored to serve as the president of the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri, during the 2014-2015 year.¬† Holiday Mart, the League’s largest fundraiser, will be held at Bartle Hall from October 16th through the 19th. A celebration of the fifth and final year of the League’s community impact area focuses on children’s nutrition and fitness.

The Women’s Foundation of Greater Kansas City

The Women’s Foundation’s 15th Annual Golf Classic will take place on August 25th at Oakwood Country Club. Valerie Coyazo and Sharon Cruz are serving as co-chairmen of this 18-hole, all-women tournament.

The Kansas City Young Matrons
The Kansas City Young Matrons’ new president is Peggy Beal. Peggy has been a member of KCYM since 2004, and has held many positions including president-elect, director of administration, director of programs, treasurer, and project coordinator for the Gillis Christmas Store. KCYM’s Do You Believe in Magic? Gala will be held on January 24th at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. Proceeds will benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Some Enchanted Evening
The Johnson County Community College Foundation’s 28th annual Some Enchanted Evening will be held on November 8th at the Overland Park Marriott Hotel. Gary Morsch will be honored as the Johnson Countian of the Year. Mary Birch is the chairman of the event that will feature a gourmet dinner, entertainment and dancing. Proceeds will support the college’s scholarship program.

100 Cheers
To celebrate its 100th anniversary, Union Station Kansas City will host a Centennial Weekend Open House on November 1st and 2nd. Lynn Devins and Patty Kincaid are serving as the co-chairmen. Guests will enjoy entertainment, featured films and performances, building tours, history lectures, and historic trains on display.
