Saint Luke’s Foundation
October 26th is the date for Saint Luke’s Foundation’s Boo Ball. The event will take place at The Pavilion at John Knox Village and guests will enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres, costume contests, silent and live auctions, and live entertainment. Proceeds will support cancer care at Saint Luke’s East Hospital.

The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art

October 12th is the date for The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art’s All Dressed Up gala at the Museum. Guests will enjoy delicious cocktails and fare from Cafe Sebastienne, a performance by the 14-piece jazz orchestra Vine Street Rumble, an opportunity to see the new exhibition, Dressed Up; and a late-night tent with food trucks and entertainment by DJ Ashton Martin. A Patrons’ Party will be held on September 26th at Kemper East.

St. Teresa’s Academy

Shining Star
November 23rd is the date for St. Teresa’s Academy auction, You Are A Shining Star, to be held at the school.  Guests will enjoy a catered gourmet dinner from Garozzo’s Ristorante and live and silent auctions. A special raffle will be held with a grand prize of either a two-year lease on a new Toyota, a year of tuition at the Academy or $10,000.

Kansas City Tip-Off Event

Fighting Cancer
October 8th is the date for the sixth annual Kansas City Tip-Off Event  at Kansas City Municipal Auditorium. Proceeds from the event will support The American Cancer Society and its fight to eliminate cancer as a life-threatening disease.

In the Spotlight

Jenny Erdman and Tim Van Zandt are the co-chairmen of The Friends of the Conservatory of Music and Dance at UMKC’s Crescendo. The event will be held on November 8th in Helzberg Hall at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and will feature a “No Limits” theme. Guests will enjoy cocktails before the concert and dinner afterwards in Brandmeyer Hall and special performances by students and faculty of the Conservatory.
