The Belles of the American Royal are pleased to announce the selection of Tracy Lyon Tetrick as president. Tracy is a BOTAR, class of 1990 and has served on the Executive Committee as treasurer in 1999, vice president of BOTAR activities in 2004 and vice president of the American Royal activities in 2015. Her other BOTAR leadership roles have included Benefactors co-chairman, Reservations chairman, Tablescapes co-chairman, and Program chairman.
September 9th is the date for The Symphony League’s Symphony Ball, “An Evening in Vienna,” to be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Kansas City Convention Center. Guests will enjoy a magnificent night of waltzes performed by the Kansas City Symphony, a silent auction, cocktails and delicious Viennese cuisine. Suzanne Shank and Pam Bruce are the co-chairmen.

Kimberly Wilkerson holds executive leadership positions and oversees operations on the boards of KCPT Public Television 19 and 909 The Bridge and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City. Working closely with both boards and the organization’s leaders, Micheal Lawrence, BBBSKC; and Kliff Kuehl, KCPT/The Bridge; she gets to make a high level impact on both of these fantastic organizations.
Create the Night…Through the Eyes of Picasso will take place on October 14th at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner, entertainment and an opportunity to see an internationally-renowned exhibit at this black-tie gala. Christy and Bill Gautreaux are the honorary chairmen, and Lauren Atterbury and Kay Newell will serve as the co-chairmen.
April 28th is the date for Pour for More, a signature cocktail event benefiting KidsTLC. Kerri Frazier and Julie Houts are serving as the co-chairmen. Guests will explore the Museum’s galleries, enjoy delicious food and drink from Cafe Sebastienne, bid on unique, custom bar carts, and dance to live music from D.J. Mike Scott.
