Celebrating 25 Years
Committee members of the 2012 Heart & Stroke Ball are busy planning this year’s gala, set for February 18th at the Kansas City Convention Center. To celebrate 25 years of saving lives, guests will enjoy an evening of entertainment with a cocktail reception, formal dinner, live & silent auctions and dancing to Lynne Jordan and the Shivers at the Pulse Party.
Heart & Stroke Ball
The 25th annual Heart & Stroke Ball promises to be a fabulous evening on February 18th at the Kansas City Convention Center. Guests will enjoy a formal dinner and a special performance by Lynne Jordan and the Shivers. Tina and Paul Neidlein, Linda and David Gentile and Leigh and Tyler Nottberg are the co-chairmen.
Midwest Foster Care and Adoption Association (MFCAA) will host Forever Families at the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza on August 20th. The event will include silent and live auctions and a delicious dinner. Mayor Sly James and Nathan Ross will be the featured speakers. Proceeds will help further MFCAA’s mission of providing children with loving families and the joy of childhood hopes and dreams.
Dr. Linda Hood Talbott
The American Biographical Institute in Raleigh, North Carolina, and the International Biographical Centre in Cambridge, England, are pleased to announce that Dr. Linda Hood Talbott of Our Town has been inducted into the International Hall of Fame in Cambridge. She was recognized for her distinguished achievements in humanitarian and philanthropic leadership. Linda is president of Talbott & Associates.

The Kansas City Club will present A Third Friday Art Event on August 19th featuring artists known as the KC BOYS – Allan Chow, Michael Duane, Jamie Lavin, and Preston McCall. Guests can browse and purchase art items on the week days through August 31st at the Club’s location.
