Annual Dinner
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art’s Society of Fellows gathered at the Museum to welcome the world-renowned Chinese painter, Xu Longsen. Xu Longsen’s magnificent scroll is the focal point in the exhibition, Journey through Mountains and Rivers: Chinese Landscapes Ancient and Modern. Guests enjoyed toasting the artist, followed by a beautiful dinner in Rozzelle Court.

Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics
On February 2nd, Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics held its Red Hot Night in the Grand Ballroom of the Kansas City Convention Center. Beth and David Fowler and Beth and Pat McCown were the honorary co-chairmen, and Tracy Brennan and Joe Gregg served as the co-chairmen.

Women’s Sports Awards Celebration

Sports Spectacular
February 1st was the date for the 19th annual WIN for KC’s Women’s Sports Awards Celebration. On the evening prior, a Patrons’ Party was held at the hotel. Kerri Walsh-Jennings, three-time Olympic gold medalist, was the keynote speaker.

The Young Friends of Art’s Party Arty

Eternal Spring
The Young Friends of Art’s Party Arty was held at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Sara Sullivan and Christina Lundeen served as the co-chairmen of the 22nd annual event. The theme “Eternal Spring” was chosen to build excitement for the exhibition, Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and Masterpieces of Modern Mexico from the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Collection coming to the Museum in May.

Patrons’ Party
The National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial was the site for the Patrons’ Party for the Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics’ Red Hot Night. Mickie and Craig Kuckelman served as the chairmen.
