Tutera Senior Living & Health Care recently broke ground on three different Kansas City-area continuum-of-care facilities. Guests recently celebrated at the Tiffany Springs Senior Community in North Kansas City, Mission Chateau in Prairie Village and Carnegie Village Rehabilitation & Health Care in Belton, Missouri.

CCVI – SPECTACLE

CCVI’s inaugural SPECTACLE was held on June 29th at Boys Grow Farm. The open-fire grilling event featured 12 of Our Town’s finest chefs, who prepared delicious South American fare on an asado-style grill, and two dessert chefs. Proceeds supported CCVI and raised funds for scholarships for youth in the Boys Grow program.

The BOTAR membership is busy making plans for the BOTAR Ball. Missy Love is serving as the president. The 67th Ball will be held on October 22nd at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown.

Friends of University Academy – Annual Gala

Friends of University Academy’s Annual Gala, “Passport to Success,” was held recently at the school. Vicki and Bill Reisler were the honorary chairmen, and Nancy Valentine served as the chairman. The 14th annual event featured cocktails, a round the world-themed menu by delish! Catering, a silent auction, and live music by the El Mambo Orchestra.

Turning Point – Hot Summer Nights

Turning Point’s Hot Summer Nights, “Keep Calm and Get Your London On” party was held on the 12th Street Bridge. Jennifer and Tommy Clemente and Kerry and Matt Adam were the co-chairmen of the June 25th event.
