The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts was the beautiful setting for Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy’s Civic Service Award 50th Anniversary Celebration on April 11th. Pella Fingersh and Marcia Karbank served as co-chairmen of the event that honored Blanche and Neil Sosland. The special evening featured an exclusive concert by the Kansas City Symphony, directed by Michael Stern.

The Truman Library Institute’s 17th annual Wild About Harry dinner was held on April 7th event at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. The Children’s SPOT at Saint Luke’s Hospital’s 19th annual Once Upon A Time was held on March 6th at Starlight Theatre. Kristen Trigg and Susie Wollard were the co-chairmen, and Pembroke Hill Sophomore Bradley Chapin served as the live auctioneer.
