2017 BOTAR Royal Welcome

September 7th was the date for the 2017 BOTAR Royal Welcome at The American Royal Center. BOTARs, Escorts and Royal Escorts and their families enjoyed delicious fare from Relish Catering and learned more about BOTAR. The 68th BOTAR Ball will be held on October 21st at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown.

The American Royal Barbecue

The American Royal Barbecue was held on September 1st at Kansas Speedway. The Belles of the American Royal celebrated under their very first tent at the event. BOTAR’s and their guests enjoyed Smokin’ Guns Barbecue and dancing to the tunes of Whiskey for the Lady.

BOTARs and their Escorts had a wonderful time at the American Royal Barbecue.

Harriman-Jewell Series – Benefactors’ Party

The beautiful home of Laura Robinson was the perfect setting for a Benefactors’ Party for Prelude 2017, a benefit for the Harriman-Jewell Series. Guests enjoyed a night of celebration, complete with stunning views of the West Bottoms and a September sunset.

Symphony League – Symphony Ball, “An Evening in Vienna”

Anne and Howard served as the honorary chairmen for the Symphony League’s Symphony Ball, “An Evening in Vienna.” The September 9th event was held at the Kansas City Convention Center. Following a silent auction and cocktail reception, Maestro Michael Stern and the Kansas City Symphony welcomed guests into the ballroom for an impressive presentation. Pam Bruce and Suzanne Shank, co-chairmen; made closing remarks, and then guests danced to the music of the Michael Beers Band.

National World War I Museum and Memorial – Night at the Tower

More than 400 guests enjoyed the National World War I Museum and Memorial’s third annual Night at the Tower on September 16th. Jeanette and Kevin Prenger were the chairmen, and members of the Hall family served as the honorary chairmen. Partygoers were treated to eclectic food and beverages, an exclusive auction and an all new program experience featuring the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra.
