The Chiefs Ambassadors are a group of former Kansas City Chiefs players from throughout the club’s history. The only group of its kind in the NFL, members support Camp Quality of Greater Kansas City, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City, KidsTLC, The Love Fund, First Downs for Down Syndrome, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Kansas City, and the Derrick Thomas Third and Long Foundation.
Danielle LeRoy is a member of the Centurions, class of 2017, and serves on the curriculum committee and the June Task Force. She graduated from The University of Kansas and works for Centric Projects. Danielle and her husband, Dan, have two sons, Dexter and Drake.
Beth Haden is a senior associate at Bryan Cave, practicing law in the areas of financial services and bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors’ rights. In addition, she is on the Recruiting and Summer Associate Committees, is vice chairman of the Women’s Forum and participates in the Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City. Julie and Chris Thompson are the honorary chairmen for Urban Ranger Corps’ Urban Rendezvous VII. The October 21st event will be held at the College Basketball Experience. Partygoers will enjoy cocktails, a raffle, silent and live auctions, and a dinner. Proceeds support the programs and services offered to young men, ages 12 to 18, living and attending schools in Kansas City’s urban core.
The Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri’s Holiday Mart will be held at Bartle Hall from October 20th through the 23rd. Megan Allen and Casey Brownsberger are the co-chairmen of the special shopping event that features more than 200 specialty retailers.
