Committee members for MOCSA’s Community Luncheon gathered at The Mezzanine at Lead Bank for a planning meeting hosted by MOCSA Board Secretary Josh Rowland. The May 6th luncheon will be held at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. Jeffrey S. Bucholtz, co-director of We End Violence; is the keynote speaker.
Cara and Travis Rhoades are serving as chairmen of the fourth annual Pour for More, a benefit for KidsTLC. The Palm Beach themed-event will be held on April 22nd at The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. Guests will enjoy signature cocktails, farm-fresh food from Café Sebastienne, local entertainment, silent auction bar carts, and dancing.
Nathan Oleen is a partner at Husch Blackwell with a practice focused on intellectual property in the technology industry. He is a member of Centurions, class of 2017, and serves on the Economic Development Task Force and the social committee. Nathan earned an engineering degree from Kansas State University and a juris doctor from the University of Missouri. He and his wife, Shannon, live in Brookside.
May 9th is the date for the 35th Annual Ben & Betty Zarda Family Golf Classic to benefit Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas. Golfers will enjoy lunch, a shotgun start and dinner following the round at Lake Quivira Country Club.
Throughout the years, Laura Gregory and Anne Blessing’s leadership has led Reach Out and Read Kansas City through several important changes, including expansion to more than 52 clinics in the Kansas City area.
