April 30th is the date for MOCSA’s Community Luncheon at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. Lara Logan will serve as the keynote speaker. Lara’s reporting from war zones for more than two decades has earned her a prominent spot among journalism’s best correspondents. The sexual assault she endured in Egypt while covering the Egyptian Revolution in 2011 brought a new spotlight on her as a survivor.
At Horizon Academy, Anna Davis is always willing to help. She spearheaded volunteer registration at the Great Pumpkin Race 5K, worked the entire night at the annual Bayou Bash and led two Learning Disabilities Simulations. Thank you, Anna, for all you do at the school!
