Wake Up and Smell the Coffee

Passover Blend
The Roasterie and Jewish Family Services have teamed up to create a special Passover blend of coffee. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the community food pantry that JFS operates. The new blend, which has been certified kosher for Passover, is a combination of beans from Brazil, Columbia and Costa Rica and is French roasted. Shelly Koehler

Since graduating from Kansas State University in 1996, Shelly Koehler has spent the majority of her career in healthcare construction and is currently a senior project manager at J.E. Dunn Construction. Shelly is a member of the Centurions Class of 2014 is and co-chairman of the Projects Committee, where she coordinates volunteers with roughly 100 non-profit events in Our Town. Shelly and her husband, Casey, enjoy being outside and are avid water skiers.

The Truman Library Institute’s Wild About Harry will be held on April 10th at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. Cathy Schultz and Cathy Hedlund served as co-chairmen for the invitation addressing party that was held on February 25th at the beautiful home of Cathy Schultz.

Grace Li-Haug and Molly Kruse are this year’s recipients of the Scott Pioli Family Scholarship through WIN for KC. This annual scholarship is given to a high school senior girl who has been involved with WIN for KC through Camp WIN or the Youth Advisory Board. Congratulations, Grace and Molly!
