Miss Kansas City, Bayleigh Dayton, recently competed in the Miss Missouri USA Pageant and won the title. Bayleigh is a graduate of Notre Dame de Sion High School and Baylor University. She is the first African American to hold the title in the pageant’s history. Bayleigh hails from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and she will compete in the nationally-televised Miss USA Pageant next year.

Katie is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Overlock Howe and the late Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Paul West Black. Her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph John Mullen of Charlottesville, Virginia. Trip is the grandson of Mr. William Thomas Mullen, Jr.
