Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Robert Armstrong of Fairway are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Bailey Elizabeth Armstrong, to Vincent Michael Pianalto, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Edward Pianalto of Leawood. Bailey is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. She earned bachelor of arts degrees in Spanish and anthropology from the University of Nebraska. She is a member of Kappa Delta sorority and is a BOTAR, class of 2011.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Francis McCord and Mrs. Edward Fred Owen of Omaha, Nebraska, and the late Mr. Owen. A beautiful baby girl named Stella Olivia Dreyer arrived on November 12th to proud parents Amy and Tom Dreyer of Our Town. Stella joins her big sisters Annie and Carly and big brother Tommy. She weighed eight pounds, two ounces and was 20 and one half inches long. Stella has blue eyes and brown hair. Her delighted grandparents are Thelma and Gene Dreyer of Prairie Village and Debi Appleton of Our Town and the late Gerald Appleton.
Laney, a Lab/Pointer mix, was an impulse rescue in July of 2005. Owner Amanda Nicholson explains that Laney loves to sunbathe, chew on sticks, fetch tennis balls, and go for car rides.
