43rd Symphony Designers’ Showhouse

This weekend is the Public Preview Weekend for the 43rd Symphony Designer’s Showhouse. This year’s house, at 47 East 53rd street in Kansas City, Missouri, will be open Saturday, January 28th from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday, January 29th from 12-4pm. See the house before the designers get to work, and then come back from April 21st to May 20th to see the amazing transformation made by some of Our Town’s top designers. Admission is $5 at the door. Christmas Candlelight Tour

Join the Wornall family Decemeber 9th and 10th for the Christmas Candlelight Tours at the John Wornall House Museum. The 19th century-inspired occasion will feature Victorian style treats, dancing, parlor games, and holiday traditions. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Trunk Show

Join Charlecote, located in the historic Crestwood shops, for a special exhibition trunk show of semiprecious stones by New York jewelry designer Deborah Liebman on Tuesday, November 29th from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Raffle tickets can be purchased, and guests will enjoy champagne and hors d’oeuvres. Fifteen percent of total purchases will benefit the Kansas City Ballet Guild.


The Good Samaritan Project

Shopping for a Cause at STUFF

STUFF in Brookside will be open tomorrow, November 10th from 6  to 8 pm to promote the Good Samaritan Project(GSP). Fifteen  percent of all purchases will go toward GSP, which helps provide  care, advocacy and education to people affected by HIV/AIDS and  other sexually transmitted diseases.
