Bacon Fest: The Other Fundraiser

The countdown to Bacon Fest dwindles as August 27th draws near.  Bacon-lovers from all over Our Town will gather to enjoy the savory treat while helping newly disabled adults and children.  This hog-inspired event will take place in the heart of Waldo (in the parking lot of Broadway Methodist Church at 74th and Wornall Road.)  Let the scent of sizzling bacon lead you to this unique fundraiser and be sure to register before August 21st to save $10.  Along with creative bacon dishes, there will also be beer and live music.  The proceeds from Bacon Fest will benefit the Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City.
