A Divine Run for SIDS Resources

Leawood 4th of July Celebration

The annual Leawood 4th of July Celebration will be held this Sunday at Leawood City Park (10601 Lee Boulevard).  The Aquatic Center is open between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., and food vendors and kids’ activities will occur between 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.  Cherry Bomb will provide musical entertainment from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., with the always-magnificent fireworks display following.  Parking will not be available in City Park, however shuttle bus transportation will be provided in the west lots along Tomahawk Creek Parkway.

j.m. rees: quasi-objects of a mental kind

“quasi-objects of a mental kind,” a collection by J.M. Rees, is on display at the Epsten Gallery of the Kansas City Jewish Museum of Contemporary Art through June 27th.  The exhibition is in celebration of the Epsten Gallery’s 10 anniversary season.  For more information, visit www.villageshalom.org.
