The annual Leawood 4th of July Celebration will be held this Sunday at Leawood City Park (10601 Lee Boulevard). The Aquatic Center is open between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., and food vendors and kids’ activities will occur between 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Cherry Bomb will provide musical entertainment from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., with the always-magnificent fireworks display following. Parking will not be available in City Park, however shuttle bus transportation will be provided in the west lots along Tomahawk Creek Parkway. |
