KC Visitors’ Choice 2010

It seems as though KayCee natives aren’t the only ones who enjoy the Kansas City Repertory Theatre.  Travelers to Our Town are voting for their favorite businesses in the 2010 KC Visitors Choice Awards and nominated the KC Rep in two categories: Best Performing Arts Group and Spencer Theatre as the Best Performing Arts Space!  Voting finishes on September 10th, so make sure you check out the winners in all 33 categories.  Click on the picture to the right to vote if you are an out-of-towner.

Westport Café and Bar Grand Opening

Westport Café and Bar opened its doors to the public with “Friends and Family” nights hosted June 14th and 15th.  Guests were treated to an appetizer, entrée and dessert, from the delicious French-inspired menu.  The owners, Aaron Confessori and Chad Bender, spent the past several months creating their vision – a chic Parisian café with all the comforts associated with the typical American tavern. Westport Café and Bar occupies the former Blanc Burgers + Bottles location at 419 Westport Road.  To learn more, visit www.westportcafeandbar.com.
