Halloween at the Nelson
If you are still in the mood for Halloween, you don’t have to wait until next year to see more spooky art. The Nelson-Atkins Museum is showing the works of Jose Guadalupe Posada through February 12th. Jose is know for his calaveras images of whimsical skeletons that are in the spirit of Dia de los Muertas. Be sure to stop by the Museum’s Day of the Dead Festival in Kirkwood Hall on Sunday, November 6th from 1 to 4 pm! For more information, visit www.nelson-atkins.org.
