Adorable Scarlett Ann Harris turned one in October and celebrated her birthday with a candy-corn themed party at the home of her parents, Brooke and Richie Harris. The birthday girl adores her pal, Arthur, a Newfoundland. While being strolled at running speed, Scarlett giggles with glee, but she frowns when she hears a leaf blower.

Boots & Breast Cancer
Nigro’s Western Store hosted Giddy Up for Boots and Breast Cancer on October 23rd. Guests enjoyed appetizers, refreshments and door prizes. The $10 door donations benefit cleaningforareason.org, the Jennifer Ireland Foundation and the University of Kansas Cancer Center.

Notre Dame de Sion

Got Game? 
Following terrific performances in the Girls’ Tennis Class 2 District Tournament and an impressive showing at Sectionals over the weekend (Notre Dame de Sion took first place overall at both tournaments), Sion’s Tennis team is headed to the Missouri state tournament this weekend. Freshman Catherine Henne won Singles 1st place. Senior Michaela Henne and sophomore Margo Gerke won Doubles 1st place in Individual Districts.
