The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stanford of Brunswick, Georgia, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Laszlo Beke and the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Stanford. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Whitney E. Kerr, Sr., of Our Town and the grandson of the late Mrs. Campbell Ellis, the late Mr. Everett B. Gibson, Jr.

Sutton Campbell Snyder

Happy Birthday, Sutton!

Sutton Campbell Snyder will celebrate his first birthday on February 24th at Indian Hills Country Club with family and friends. Sutton was born last year on Leap Day. His parents are Tiffany and Dr. Lance Snyder. He has three adoring older brothers and enjoys playing with his dog Lola, taking walks on the Plaza and watching the Jayhawks play. Sutton dislikes bananas, wearing socks and nap time.

Lynda LaFaun Garney and Dickey Randolph Honea were married on September 29th. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Garney of Our Town. Her groom is the son of Sue Dickey Honea of Magee, Mississippi. The evening prior to the wedding, the groom’s mother hosted the rehearsal dinner for her son and his bride-to-be at the Courtyard by Marriott at Briarcliff. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Garney fêted the couple with a reception following the ceremony at their beautiful home.

Tails of Our Town

Bear was a recent model in the SASSY program’s Project Poochie. He is five years old and is part Lab, part mystery breed. Pam Scott adopted Bear from Great Plains SPCA two years ago and has loved his model behavior ever since!

Vacation Vignette

The Petet family had a wonderful time vacationing in Colorado. Melinda, Dave, Lucy, and Luke, along with Grandma Mary Ann Kerns, enjoyed rafting the Arkansas River under the Royal Gorge.
