Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Clayton Mrkonic of Overland Park are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Craig Mrkonic, to Weston Patrick Buckley, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen James Buckley of Our Town. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. George Ralph Mrkonic of Merriam and the late Mr. Mrkonic, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thorne Schwanzle. Megan is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School.

Marsha Morton and Mr. Michael Zisser of Pelham, New York, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emma Morton Zisser, to Jason Morton Bloch, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Morton Bloch of Our Town. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Helen Sher of Scottsdale, Arizona, the late Mr. Manny Zisser, the late Marian Morton, and the late Mr. Robert Glen Morton. Vacation Vignette

A Pacific Adventure
After spending two days soaking up the sun on the beach in Hawaii, Jeff Huggins boarded the USS John C. Stennis with his father, Jim Huggins and his uncle, Len Kriesky, to join his brother, Justin Huggins, a lieutenant in the US Navy. Jeff stayed in his brother’s state room, and ate his meals in the mess hall along with the crew.
