YMCA of Greater Kansas City – Cheers for Challenger
The YMCA of Greater Kansas City’s seventh annual Cheers for Challenger wine tasting and auction was held on July 11th. Jenny Burkhead served as the chairman of the event which featured Trent Green and other local sports celebrities. Guests enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and an auction to benefit the YMCA of Greater Kansas City’s Challenger program. Proceeds from the event will help expand the Fred and Shirley Pryor YMCA Challenger Sports Complex and give more young people with special needs the opportunity to be active and participate in team sports.
