Dr. and Mrs. Robin K. Purdy of Woodstock, Illinois, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hilary Louise Purdy, to Michael Field Orlowski, the son of Debora H. Field Orlowski and Mr. David J. Orlowski of Our Town. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Woodstock High School in Woodstock. She earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Northwestern University. Hilary earned her doctor of medicine degree from Rush University Medical Center, where she chosen to join Alpha Omega Alpha. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and is a fourth year Resident Physician in Diagnostic Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University.  

Her groom-elect is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. Michael earned a bachelor of science degree in finance from Miami University. He received his juris doctor from the Washington University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. Michael is a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and is employed with Polsinelli in St. Louis, Missouri. Theirs will be an October 25th wedding at the Church of St. Michael & St. George in St. Louis.
