Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Ralph Barnthouse of Leawood are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Molly Kathleen Barnthouse, to Robert James Anderson, the son of Reverend and Mrs. James Aden Anderson of Deephaven, Minnesota. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Thomas Auten of Paola, Kansas, and the late Mr. Auten and Mrs. James Barnthouse of Winfield, Kansas, and the late Mr. Barnthouse. Molly is a graduate of Notre Dame de Sion High School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies from The University of Kansas. Molly is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and is careering with Chemical Information Services in Dallas, Texas. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Pontius of Edina, Minnesota, and Mrs. James Anderson of Edina and the late Mr. Anderson. Bobby is a graduate of Edina High School. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in finance from Baylor University. Bobby is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and is employed with Stonehenge Growth Capital in Dallas. Theirs will be a September 27th wedding at Catholic Church of the Ascension.
